Las Vegas’ iconic atmosphere extends far beyond the sold-out shows, iconic homes, and Strip skyline. It’s well-known for five-star restaurants and celebrity chefs, but those aren’t the only things that make an iconic meal. With these famous restaurants, you can explore Vegas’s culinary landscape and history all at once.

Las Vegas’ Most Iconic Restaurants

Whether you’re cruising the Strip, checking out Downtown, or venturing further, you can find Vegas’ most iconic restaurants in all the places you would expect and some spots you’d never guess.

Hell’s Kitchen

LOCATION: Caesars Palace
PRICE RANGE:  $100+
MUST-TRY DISH: The star of the menu is one recurrently featured on Hell’s Kitchen–as well as Ramsay’s signature dish: Beef Wellington.

Are you Team Red or Team Blue?

Gordon Ramsay has six Las Vegas restaurants, but none more iconic than Hell’s Kitchen. For almost 20 years and over 20 seasons, Hell’s Kitchen has brought the fiery antics of Ramsay and dozens of chefs into our living rooms.

At Hell’s Kitchen, you have the chance to taste some of the mouthwatering dishes Ramsay likes to challenge the chefs with, such as pan-seared scallops, crispy skin salmon, and New York strip steak.

The restaurant has a special group dining menu for private events, a regular menu, and a seasonal three-course lunch menu available on weekdays. Unlike many venues on the Strip, Hell’s Kitchen is a stand-alone restaurant (in front of Caesars Palace). Especially if you’re staying at a 5-star resort, it’s the perfect place to indulge in a 5-star meal.

PREMIER TIP: If you’re still hungry after dinner, you can dive into the sticky toffee pudding, a signature Hell’s Kitchen/Gordon Ramsay dessert.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

LOCATION: Paris Las Vegas
PRICE RANGE:  $200+
MUST-TRY DISHES: If you’re there for dinner, start the evening with a classic French appetizer, escargots. For the entree, guests consistently praise the selection of filet mignons. For dessert, indulge in the famous soufflés (of any flavor, especially chocolate).

For a fabulous view and a fantastic meal, there’s no better place than the Eiffel Tower (Vegas edition), where you can enjoy the luxuries of French dining without venturing all the way to France.

The Eiffel Tower Restaurant is on the 11th floor of Paris Las Vegas, with a stunning vantage point of one of Vegas’s most famous features, the Fountains of Bellagio. It’s an excellent spot for a special occasion or romantic night out, as it features an impressive wine list, boasting one of the largest selections in Las Vegas with over 1400 different labels.

The restaurant is open seven days a week for dinner from 5 pm to 10 pm. It’s also open for a three-course brunch from 10 am to 2 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The restaurant requires brunch guests to dine from the special three-course menu, but it offers an impressive selection of appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

We recommend reservations, though bar seating is sometimes available at the last minute. If your party has more than seven people, the restaurant asks that you contact them directly for reservations.

PREMIER TIP: Add bread and jams or a selection of caviar to your meal.

Restaurant Guy Savoy

LOCATION: Caesars Palace
PRICE RANGE:  $400+
MUST-TRY DISHES: Restaurant Guy Savoy’s must-try dishes are the artichoke and black truffle soup and the seafood.

One of the most luxurious options on the list, Restaurant Guy Savoy in Caesars Palace offers you another taste of Paris with “contemporary fine French dining” and a view of the Vegas Eiffel Tower. The menu states, “Photographs are encouraged,” so you are sure to find some Instagram-worthy dishes here.

After entering through the dedicated restaurant valet, you can select the “5-Star Celebration Menu” for the entire table or opt for the à la carte menu. The wine list can be overwhelming, but the restaurant’s sommelier can help with a personalized wine pairing recommendation.

Le Cirque

LOCATION:  Bellagio
PRICE RANGE:  $300+
MUST-TRY DISHES:  The Wagyu striploin and California rabbit are two of their most popular entrees.

Le Cirque in Bellagio is famous for its eight-course tasting menu and unique interior (think: luxury circus). With French and European-inspired fare, the restaurant originated in New York, but the only location currently open is in Vegas. It’s great for foodies and fans of classic dining.

Le Cirque has not one but two sommeliers to help you make the most of your meal. If you’re not up for eight courses, you also have the option of the three- or four-course meals.

The restaurant is only open Friday through Monday and is a popular spot, so we suggest making a reservation. The dress code is business elegant, so it’s a good excuse to get a little dressed up.

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés

LOCATION:  Sahara Las Vegas
PRICE RANGE:  $100+
MUST-TRY DISHES:  There’s an array of Kobe and Wagyu options, but the Kobe Eye of the Rib is well-loved. Try the cotton candy foie gras or the caviar cone for a unique starter.

One of the best steaks in Vegas (plus a wide selection of alternates), Bazaar Meat in Sahara Las Vegas is “a groundbreaking culinary experience.” José Andrés’ name alone is enough to bring fame to this restaurant, but Bazaar Meat’s shared plates style is one of the things that makes it most memorable.

You can select one of several “tasting menus” to get the most out of the experience.

This year, Bazaar Meat is also up for USA Today’s “10 Best” in the Best Casino Restaurant category. It’s best to get a reservation to secure your spot.

Tacos El Gordo

LOCATION:  Multiple Loations
PRICE RANGE:  $15 – $30
MUST-TRY DISHES:  The must-try menu items are their salsa and guacamole – made from scratch daily.

Family-owned and operated, Tacos El Gordo is a perfect option for a late-night craving and a more reasonable fare.

With four Las Vegas locations (and a few more in California), Tacos El Gordo serves up authentic Tijuana tacos in a low-key environment. The location on Las Vegas Blvd can get busy, so it may be best to get off the Strip and check out one of the others. Try their street tacos made with fresh ingredients.

Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets

LOCATION:  Multiple Loations
PRICE RANGE:  $5 – $40
MUST-TRY DISHES: Try the Dulce de Leche, the Cannoli (topped with a mini filled cannoli), or the Lemon Raspberry Meringue.

Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets has been taking TikTok and Instagram by storm since it opened in 2019 (adding a second location in 2022). High-end, luxurious, and internet-famous, it’s the perfect place to get an off-the-Strip treat.

They make the donuts from scratch daily with brioche dough and decorate each by hand. They also craft delicious French-Quarter-style beignets and homemade pizzas. If you’re in the mood for something really special, their signature is the “DoughSaint,” only available on Saturday and Sunday. These creations are hand-decorated croissant donuts that take three days to prepare. You can order ahead to make sure you don’t miss out.

If you want to brighten up your social media wall with couture donuts, this is the spot for you. Don’t forget to check out their gluten-free and vegan options, too (these flavors change seasonally).

The Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge

LOCATION:  Las Vegas Strip
PRICE RANGE:  $20 – $30
MUST-TRY DISHES:  The signature dish here is its namesake: the Peppermill burger.

Two words to describe the Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge are “nostalgic and iconic.” It’s a classic Vegas establishment – in business for over 50 years – and it’s been a favorite of locals for decades. The Peppermill is like stepping into a different era of Vegas.

The restaurant is open late, seating past 1 am and open until 2 am, so it’s a great stop to make after adventures earlier in the evening. Since the venue has limited parking, the restaurant suggests taking rideshare or other transportation.

Golden Steer Steakhouse

LOCATION:  Las Vegas Blvd & Sahara
PRICE RANGE:  $100+
MUST-TRY DISHES:  The bone-in rib eye is a must for every foodie.

Perhaps the most iconic restaurant on the list, the Golden Steer Steakhouse has been hosting entertainment royalty (and more than a few mobsters) since 1958. Have you ever dined in one of the Rat Pack’s old haunts or sat where the King of Rock and Roll sat?

Some of the most famous names to grace the Golden Steer’s classic red leather booths include:

  • Muhammad Ali
  • Nat “King” Cole
  • Joe DiMaggio
  • Marilyn Monroe
  • Elvis Presley

It is the oldest continually operated steakhouse in Vegas and boasts “the Best Steak in the World.” It’s also one of the hardest reservations to get.

You can also take home the best flavors with seasonings, butters, and meats available for purchase.
