Are you gearing up for a Vegas getaway to catch some performances? Whether you’re aiming to experience a bunch of shows or hoping to witness your favorite artist in a more personal setting, the allure of an unforgettable concert is unparalleled. With many new and returning residency shows in Las Vegas throughout 2024, you’re sure to find a concert or two you won’t soon forget.
Unlike touring concerts, Vegas residencies enable a way to see a performer in an intimate venue–oftentimes with purpose-built stage features and visual effects.
Below are the most-anticipated artist residencies in 2024, either due to them playing Vegas for the first time in a while or due to the popularity of their Vegas residencies in recent years (not including the residencies at Sphere, which has upcoming performances from The Eagles).
Special Note: Lady Gaga has completed her run at Park MGM. Her Jazz & Piano show that featured a mix of classic songs from old-time performers such as Tony Bennett and jazzy spins on her most popular songs was truly a spectacular show. We hope that she will get her creative juices flowing and come up with a new Vegas show soon – hopefully in 2025 or 2026.
Top 2024 Residencies
Janet Jackson
WHERE: Resorts World
DATES: December 30-31 | January 3-4 (2025) | February 5, 7-8, 12, 14-15 (2025)
Ms. Jackson will be returning to Vegas to help ring in 2025. These concerts will also mark her first appearance at Resorts World. This residency will come after the completion of her 35-city extension to her “Together Again” tour.
Ms. Jackson last had a residency in Las Vegas at the Dolby Live Theater in 2019. Many concert-goers had complaints after those performances because Ms. Jackson performed her classic popular songs in a short medley as opposed to focusing more of the show on those classics. Let’s hope she rectifies that when she comes back to Vegas.
Shania Twain
WHERE: Planet Hollywood
DATES: November 29-30 | December 4, 6-7, 11, 13-14 | January 22, 24-25, 29, 31 (2025) | February 1, 5, 7-8 (2025)
Shania Twain continues her long-running and popular residency as we leave 2024 and enter 2025. The residency performance focuses on her greatest so she will still be the one and she will impress you much!

Earlier in 2024, the same venue at Fontainebleau will host one-night performances from Daryl Hall + Elvis Costello and The Smashing Pumpkins. But Keith Urban’s residency is the theater’s first.
Mariah Carey
WHERE: Dolby Live – Park MGM
DATES: January 31 (2025) | February 1, 5, 7-8, 12, 14-15 (2025)
The legendary Mariah Carey returned to Vegas in July 2024 with her The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live Theater at Park MGM. After a short run in July and August, she will return in January 2025. The concerts mark the 19th anniversary of the release of the album The Emancipation of Mimi. The shows have featured popular songs from that album, such as “We Belong Together” and “Shake It Off,” as well as songs from throughout her illustrious career.
Her return to Vegas marks a break from performances since 2020, where Carey has primarily performed her awesome holiday music. This also marks her first performance at Park MGM, as her prior two Vegas residencies occurred at Caesars’ Palace.
The popular Grammy-award-winning band returned to Park MGM in 2024 with a residency. Although Maroon 5 is playing many of their popular hits, including “This Love,” “Sugar,” “Girls Like You,” and “Moves Like Jagger,” they also are throwing in some curveballs with some of their newer music.
Frontman Adam Levine has not disappointed in the 2024 version of M5LV!
The highly anticipated Weekends With Adele, which started in late 2022, continues at Caesars Palace with a few dates left in 2024. Note, Adele recently announced that she will be going on an indefinite break after these shows so keep that in mind.

Currently, tickets for her 2024 dates at the 4,000-seat Coliseum are primarily found on secondhand ticket seller websites.
Carrie Underwood Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency continues at Resorts World in 2024. The three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and 8-time GRAMMY winner’s shows have received rave reviews since debuting at the North Strip property.
In December 2023, Miranda Lambert, who attended her friend’s show, described Underwood’s performance: “This show is so well thought out and it is a perfect reflection of her and what a career she has built,….” “The lights, fire, music, production, sparkle, and most importantly, that voice.
For early 80s nostalgia seekers, New Edition will have a mini-residency at Wynn Las Vegas in early 2024.
The group for these performances and the performances earlier in 2024 was composed of Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant, and Johnny Gill. Bobby Brown became even more mega-famous thanks to his high-profile relationship with the late Whitney Houston. Other members of New Edition later formed Bel Biv Devoe. Johnny Gill also went on to have a nice run as a solo performer.
“Cool it Now” and bring your “Candy Girl”!
As visitors to Premier Vegas know, we love the intimacy of the Encore Theater at Wynn. There is not a bad seat in the house.
