Whether attending a tournament in person or just coming to Vegas to watch and bet at a sportsbook, as always, Vegas will be the best destination for March Madness!
As you know by now, Vegas is the world capital for sports in 2024 with the Big Game, March Madness, the NFL Draft, F1, and maybe another Stanley Cup or WNBA championship team (we hope)!
March Madness 2024 in Las Vegas: What to Know
Here is the schedule for the Final 64 of March Madness 2024, which begins with Selection Sunday on March 17, 2024.
Men’s Basketball
- Selection Sunday: Sunday, March 17
- First Four: March 19-20
- First round: March 21-22
- Second round: March 23-24
- Sweet 16: March 28-29
- Elite Eight: March 30-31
- Final Four: Saturday, April 6 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
- NCAA Championship Game: Monday, April 8 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Women’s Basketball
- Selection Sunday: Sunday, March 17
- First Four: March 20-21
- First round: March 22-23
- Second round: March 24-25
- Sweet 16: March 29-30
- Elite Eight: March 31-April 1
- Final Four: Friday, April 5 at 7:30 and 9 p.m. ET on ESPN, hosted at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
- NCAA championship game: Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. ET on ABC, hosted at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
However, before the Final 64 even starts, there will be a lot of live action to experience.

You may be thinking, “Gee, a lot of basketball is happening the week before the Final 64 starts.” We agree!
As many will notice, these will be the last Pac-12 basketball tournaments ever. With West Coast teams joining the Big Ten, ACC, and Big 12 in 2025, it will be interesting to see if Vegas will soon be hosting some new conference tourneys in future years.
Yes, it will take time to get used to watching a Michigan-UCLA conference basketball game or a Duke-Stanford battle of SAT scores, but if those games are happening in Vegas, count us in!
PREMIER TIP: Room rates in Vegas will be substantially cheaper during conference tournaments than during the first weekend of the Final 64 on TV. The betting windows will be open then, too. Just saying.
How to Watch the Final 64: Las Vegas Sportsbooks
Now, onto the main event!
As you know by now, March 21-24 is when the first and second rounds will take place and when you and your buddies will want to be here. You can watch the Final 64 games with other die-hard fans and bettors at one of Las Vegas’s many sportsbooks.

However, you will have to get there early in the morning on the days of the games during the opening weekend to have a chance to secure seating. You should also check with the sportsbook if a seat reservation is required.
How to Watch the Final 64: Top Watch Parties
If you want to ensure you have a seat or are looking for an upgraded experience, here are already scheduled watch parties, where you can book your seats now.
- Caesars Entertainment Properties – Caesars offers various viewing packages at its sportsbooks, bars, and restaurants.
Reservations are available. - Circa – Arguably the best sportsbook in Vegas, fans can reserve seating in Circa’s sportsbook for all of the Final 64 days.
Reservations are available. - Hard Rock Cafe – The Hard Rock Cafe will host a three-day watch party from March 21-23, including an open bar and a buffet. Tickets start at $750 per person.
Reservations are available. - Westgate – The Westgate Super Book is hosting a watch party with reserved seating in its 1,500-seat venue.
Reservations are available. - The Plaza – The Downtown Plaza will host a watch party in its March 21-23 ballroom. Tickets are $100 per person, including free draft beer and soft drinks.
Reservations are available. - Wynn Las Vegas – Wynn Las Vegas will be hosting a variety of VIP watch parties from March 21-24, including at the Eastside Lounge (starting at $50 per person per day), Charlie’s Sports Bar located with views of the sports book TV screens (starting at $385 per person per day) and Allegro (starting at $250 per person per day).
More information can be found here. - Palazzo – The Palazzo will be hosting VIP watch parties including at The Stadium with its 100 plus TVs from March 21-23. Tickets there start at $150 for general admission with numerous upgrade options with dedicated seating available.

More information can be found here. - The Sahara – The 8,000 square-foot Chickie’s And Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar at The Sahara regularly hosts watch parties for major sporting events. For March Madness, it is offering VIP tickets for March 21 and March 22. Tickets start at $320.94 per person, including dedicated seating and a $250 F&B credits.
