Where To Watch

  • The starting line is at the Grand Prix Plaza building on the corner of Harmon and Koval to the east of the Strip. Constructed in 2023 specifically for the event, the building is a 300,000-square-foot structure. It is the largest F1 starting building to date.
  • The race technically starts on Harmon before turning onto Koval and eventually down the Strip and around and around.
  • The official F1 Las Vegas site has a track circuit map.

How to Get 2024 F1 Las Vegas Tickets

General Admission Tickets

General admission tickets, which do not include seating, may be available on the official F1 Las Vegas site but are definitely available via secondhand ticket resellers. Food and beverages are available for purchase with these tickets (with the exception of the Heineken Zone, where they are included).

The more desirable zones where GA tickets are available are the Caesars Palace Zone (Caesars Palace) and the Heineken Zone (South Koval). The least desirable zones are the T Mobile Zone (near the Sphere) and the Flamingo Zone (Flamingo casino). Three-day tickets in the least desirable zones start at around $675 plus taxes/fees per three-day pass, going over $1,000 in the more desirable zones. You can find one-day passes for the Flamingo Zone only.

Note: There are 10,000 total GA tickets, many of which were sold to local Las Vegas residents.

Grandstand Tickets

Grandstand tickets, which include assigned seats, may be available on the official F1 Las Vegas site but are definitely available on secondhand reseller sites. The grandstand tickets include complimentary food, soda, and water.

The Heineken Silver Zone, located at the start/finish line in the aforementioned purpose-built structure, is the most sought-after zone. The next most desirable grandstand zone is the T Mobile Zone (near the Sphere), followed by the West Harmon Zone.

T Mobile Zone tickets will offer access to nightly entertainment on an outdoor stage. Headliners include OneRepublic (November 21), Alesso (November 22), and Ludacris (November 23).

Bellagio

Bellagio, located in the Center Strip, where the F1 cars will be near maximum speed, has a VIP experience in its purpose-built Fountain Club race viewing area. Three-day tickets start at $12,500 per person.

Tickets require a two-ticket minimum and a hotel stay (the hotel is booked separately). Hotel rates at Bellagio currently start at $562 per night for a three-night stay for F1 weekend.

Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan is reportedly planning a viewing area from The Boulevard Pool, which faces the Strip. In addition to that, with its balcony suites, the Cosmopolitan offers guests the rare opportunity to glimpse the F1 event from the comfort of their rooms.

As the Cosmopolitan is right along the route, Strip-facing outdoor patios will offer prime and private track views.

Cosmopolitan’s hotel rates currently start at $657 per night for a three-night stay.

What Other Events Are Happening F1 Weekend?

The theme for 2024 is to make F1 Las Vegas more inclusive since many non-luxury casinos and attractions struggled last year.

Furthermore, some of the casinos have taken matters into their own hands and have created events catering to people who are priced out of F1 festivities.

The general public will have access to a free fan experience on the Strip during race weekend on land owned by Wynn. The venue will include live entertainment, food trucks, and ‘F1 attractions’.

Downtown Las Vegas will host the Neon City Festival from November 22-24. Preliminary plans call for free live music. The Fremont Experience, all Downtown hotels, and The STRAT are expected to participate. The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority has already committed to a $1 million sponsorship for the event.

Planning Ahead for Race Weekend

Like any town hosting a major sporting event, parking and lodging prices increase with increased demand.

In 2023, hotel and ticket prices started at exorbitant prices but eventually plummeted as race weekend approached (especially hotel prices).

This year, the resorts are taking a more conservative approach to pricing so that we won’t see similar price drops. However, the high-end properties with race views, including Wynn, Venetian/Palazzo, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, and Cosmopolitan, are still expected to garner steep rates.

Other properties located on the course (between Wynn and Planet Hollywood) that cater to the middle market, such as Horseshoe, Flamingo, Linq, Cromwell, Harrah’s, TI, and Paris, are likely your best bet if you are on a budget and want to be part of the action. Currently, prices at these properties run in the $150 per night range.

Prices at other Strip properties outside the course track and Downtown have hotel rates below those of the aforementioned properties. Rates at these properties may even be lower than a typical Vegas weekend.

Note: Many rooms won’t face toward the F1 course, even in hotels along the course, so be mindful that you may not be able to see the course from your room.

Getting to the Strip and Parking

  • Road closures will occur each evening prior to the practice rounds on Thursday and Friday and before the race on Saturday.
  • Numerous resorts will have parking available, though the resorts along the course will only allow parking for those with reservations (rooms, restaurants, or shows).
  • There will be multiple rideshare drop-off points near the course that F1 will make available.

Premier Tip:  If you plan to park at a hotel (not along the route) and walk, check their website for parking policies and prices.
