What Are the Best Convention Centers in Vegas?

Bellagio’s Convention Center offers luxury amenities in an upscale atmosphere. Their largest space, the Grand Ballroom, has 45,000 square feet. The 22,000-square-foot Bellagio Ballroom, with space for 1,400-plus guests, features an elevated stage and has won the AAA Five Diamond Award.

Bellagio has four ballrooms in total, plus additional meeting rooms and the outdoor Grand Patio. The Tuscany Kitchen at Bellagio is “the first exhibition kitchen of its kind in Las Vegas” and was “designed specifically… for cooking demonstrations and receptions, formal dinners and tastings, team-building activities,” and more.

The largest event venue in Downtown Las Vegas, the World Market Center regularly hosts exhibitions for products and brands for retailers from around the world. The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas is a venue just eight miles from Harry Reid International Airport but conveniently removed from much of the bustle and traffic of the Strip.

With a capacity for 3,300+ guests, the Expo has 315,000 square feet of event space, dozens of mixed-use options, and on-site catering. The connected parking garage makes it easy to have access to your vehicle. It’s adaptable for all kinds of functions, including corporate functions, business meetings, nonprofit events, and more. They also have outdoor event space.

The Caesars Forum is a 320,000-square-foot event space in the middle of the Strip. With two 108,000-square-foot ballrooms, two 40,000-square-foot ballrooms, and four boardrooms, it’s ideal for corporate events and conferences for 12,000+ guests.

Caesars Forum attendees will likely want to stay at the various hotel towers at Caesars Palace, including The Nobu. Conference-goers can also find accommodations at the nearby Flamingo, LINQ, and Harrah’s hotels, which offer lower room rates. The LINQ Promenade is a popular hotspot for shopping, dining, and Vegas attractions, such as the High Roller observation wheel and Fly LINQ Zipline.

Caesars Forum has one level with two loading docks for easy setup and teardown. It has a 100,000-square-foot outdoor plaza and ballrooms with room for over 12,000 attendees–the largest pillarless ballrooms in the world. The Forum has hosted events affiliated with the 2022 NFL draft and BravoCon.

The Venetian Expo is three miles from Harry Reid International Airport, attached to both the Italian-inspired Venetian Las Vegas and The Palazzo. It has 1.2 million square feet of space, perfect for consumer and trade shows for at least 12,000 guests.

The Venetian and The Palazzo are some of the Strip’s most luxurious and highly-rated resorts and numerous restaurants. In addition, the complex is also connected by an overhead walkway to the Sphere.

The Venetian is undergoing a 1.5 billion dollar renovation project, including $188 million for its convention space, covering guest rooms, new restaurants, and entertainment.

While they completed upgrades to all 4,000 of Venetian’s suites in September 2024, the convention upgrades will continue through 2026 and include color palette redesigns and luxury lounge spaces.

Mandalay Bay’s two million-square-foot convention center is the 5th largest in North America.

The Mandalay Bay Convention Center is perfect for energy-conscious companies, corporate events, and conferences. The convention center’s rooftop solar panels produce almost a quarter of the property’s energy consumption.

In the middle of the Mandalay Bay property, you and your convention guests have access to all of Mandalay Bay’s amenities, such as their 11.5-acre beach. The famous Shark Reef Aquarium, Cirque Du Soleil’s Michael Jackson show, and the House of Blues are some attractions to check out after meetings wrap up.

Mandalay Bay is also just half a mile from Allegiant Stadium–home of the Las Vegas Raiders–and 2 miles from the Harry Reid International Airport.

The Mandalay Bay Convention Center has a maximum showroom and theater capacity of 12,000. They also have customizable LED walls and other advanced technology in all spaces. The convention center is also adjacent to the 10,000-seat MICHELOB ULTRA Arena, which can also be rented.

Perhaps the most well-known convention center in Vegas is the one that bears its name: the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) is right off the Strip, next to the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, and down the street from the Wynn Las Vegas.

The LVCC is one of the largest convention centers in the world, with 2,500,000 square feet of exhibit hall space across its four convention halls (and 4,600,000 square feet total), and the largest convention center in Las Vegas. There are grand lobby and registration areas in the Central and West Halls, over 200 meeting rooms, and seating capacities of up to 2,500.

The space is known for its versatility and often holds multiple events simultaneously. It’s ideal for large-scale events like CES, World of Concrete, and trade shows. Events at the convention center host an estimated 200,000 attendees.

Parking and Transportation Options
If you visit the LVCC, you can park on-site, but it gets crowded. Rideshare pickup at the end of the convention day can also be hectic. Luckily, several stops on the Las Vegas Monorail can get you where you need to go. You can park at the Westgate for free and walk or take the monorail a few stops to your destination.

The Vegas Loop also offers direct access to LVCC from Resorts World, connecting the hotel with four passenger stops across the convention halls. Visitors should note that It takes approximately 25 minutes to walk from the West Hall to the North/Central Hall.

On the Vegas Loop, the same trip takes less than 5 minutes. You can also purchase tickets for the Vegas Loop in advance. (Note: The Loop is currently only open to convention attendees but plans to expand to other Vegas locations).

The major players aren’t the only available convention halls close to the Vegas action. Below are some other popular, smaller convention space options.

The Palms has several unique options for smaller gatherings. In addition to meeting rooms, you can host functions at their resort pool, a “moon view” space on the top floor (complete with a retractable roof for an indoor or outdoor experience), the Pearl Theater, and the upscale Nove. Event catering is available.

The Orleans has 60,000 square feet of convention and meeting space, not including the 10,000 square foot Orleans Arena. They cater to business functions, parties, events, and adventures.

Rio Las Vegas boasts “large-scale, intimate, and everything in between.” They have five versatile ballrooms and 200,000 square feet of meeting space combined. They also have 500,000 square feet of outdoor space available. Their most unique venue is the rooftop Voodoo Lounge for receptions of up to 700 people. The Rio is also undergoing a complete transformation of the entire property so it could be a ‘hidden gem’ to host conferences when the renovation is complete in 2025.
