Hoover Dam is 726 feet high and is one of the highest concrete dams ever constructed. Lake Mead is one of the largest man-made lakes in the United States. On the first Friday of each month, the "First Friday" celebration is held which exhibits the works of local artists and musicians in Downtown's Arts District.
